Want to protect your hard drive from a sudden breakdown?
Modern hard disks support a self-monitoring technology called S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology). This technology allows you to monitor the important parts of hard drives, warning you if their condition is getting worse and data loss is possible. However, in order to use this information, you will need special software which can collect and process it. Active SMART is intended for just this purpose. Install Active SMART to protect your HDDs and the data stored on them.
